Notating the names of nuns

Hi! Typically when a woman enters the nunnery she is given a new name. Is there any standard useful way of notating this?

There's no standard. There's a field you can add (in the facts section) for Religious Name. You could also use an AKA or Alias field, sandwich it in at the end of the surname (Elsie Ethrington, later Sister Bertrille), or simply put an explanation into the Misc. Note. Or any combination of those.
