I am having trouble in getting "geographic coordinates" to work.

I go to; places, select place, select Geo and then "get" but all I recieve is a pop-up
window saying; Error requesting GeoTag for.... Connection Failed.

I know I'm on the net so not sure what could be stopping this from, working.

Any clues anyone, please ??

Nothing seems to appear in the manual other than setting the tags etc. nor can I see
any settings that need to be tweaked.

Found an offending app that was preventing connections to Google Maps !!

Hi Maynard,

Apologies for late reply.

Its been so long ago with a change of iMac etc. I can't remember precisely what it was, but I have a suspicion it was an app that I was trying out that prevented me from from loading Geo codes. It may have been using Google Chrome - then their Maps.
