Misc Events

When I import data from other genealogy apps several pieces, primarily Race which has a Fact and Soc Sec Num which has an Event in Reunion go directly to Misc events. During the import of the data I get no opportunity to choose where they go although several pieces of data are flagged for me to take an action (Cause of death, Education, Occupation). Are there gedcom tweaks to fix these things?

Hi Jim,

I'm sorry to hear some information is not being imported as expected.

However, the easiest way to see if the GEDCOM file can be tweaked is for us to actually see the GEDCOM file.
