Cleaning-up extraneous data following GEDCOM import

Anyone have any tips for a shortcut for mass cleaning? Years ago I imported my tree of thousands from PC-based 'Relatively Yours' into Reunion. I am constantly working through deleting code and gobble-de-gook from a number of fields one person-entry at a time (on iMac or using the iPad):

    1. In the "Memo" fields of Birth, Baptism, Death, Burial:
    e.g. removing "B02 Birth, 2658, 0 event owner, 0"

    2. In the "Notes" field for some people:
e.g. SplmR4MIL43iQqZQ6.o8L5/VQaFQQ4................... (Deleting these Notes, just huge blocks of rubbish)

Is there a way to more easily delete this stuff?

I am not hopeful, but thought it worth asking....

Re: Cleaning-up extraneous data following GEDCOM import

Some playing around I found a solution for the extraneous Notes field.

I was aware of opening the List Window, selecting columns and choosing one for Notes and the field that had been added was a special [*NEW _TXT], so I can see all the entries. There were 1300+ entries, and a quick scroll down confirmed nothing but rubbish in this GEDCOM-import created field.

Then I realised I could Delete the entire field! One down, more to go!
