Blank spaces in book

I have been experimenting with the book feature and have noticed many instances of white space inserted between:

John married Mary.







They had the following children, etc...

This happens when the children list is pushed to a new column or page. Is this what you intended? I know you don't want an orphan statement before the actual list starts but the space I am seeing seems much too large for that.

I did have to change my pictures to "small" to get wrap to work on a two column layout.

Thanks for adding the book feature. It just what I need for the project I am working on.

This does sound like the book formatter is trying to avoid an orphan.
