    Displaying Multiple Census Events

I've been reading the other threads about using census info as a source or as an event. I use Events for census records but am having trouble displaying the records in the Family View. The default is a single Census Event. By control-clicking event in the person field, I can create another census field and populate it but it isn't visible in the Family View (only one Census Event is visible). Only when I go back to the Person>Events do I see both Census events. When I to to the Family View preferences, I can add a Census field but it just duplicates the existing census information (so instead of 1870 and 1880 I have two 1870's). I must be missing something obvious but I can seem to get the proper display.

    Yvonne,

You want to use a "smart list". If you search for "smart lists" in the manual you should find everything explained.

      Dennis,

      Thank you! That did it.
