Today I was working in Reunion 11.0.5, and I noticed that I didn't have the preferred pictures displaying in the child buttons of the family view. I'm sure I had that turned on once upon a time, didn't remember turning it off, but stuff happens.
I went into Preferences and turned on preferred pictures in the child buttons and was shocked! The child button pictures were HUGE. I'm sure that when I had them before, they were similar in size to the thumbnails in the parent buttons, couple buttons and the multimedia display, but now they're at least twice that size, or larger! I was forced to uncheck the selection in Preferences, or have a space that was showing six child buttons, for example, end up showing TWO.
What's the reason for this? FYI, I'm running a MacBook Pro 15-inch Mid 2014 Retina Display. The display resolution is 2880 x 1800, the default setting "looks like" 1440 x 900, although I have the setting at "looks like" 1680 x 1050 because I like to have more display real estate. The second display, since I'm working on the sun porch today, is my little old 17-inch external with a resolution of 1280 x 1024. The Reunion window is actually running on my external display.
Just as an experiment, I dragged the Reunion window over to the internal display, but it didn't make any difference, the child button pictures are still huge. I haven't tried it using my other external display, an LG 1920 x 1080 that I use in my office, but from what I've seen so far, I don't think that will show any difference.
Is there a solution for this issue, please?
