    Reunion find Function

I have just over 57,000 individuals in my One-name study database. 23,000 of these records originate from the Free BMD database and share a common source Citation, source number 265.

Of the 23,000 records I would like to move those that ONLY have source number 265 into a new Reunion file. Those that have a source citation of 265 and ANY other source citation should not be moved.

Using the find function in reunion I was wanting to tag records that contain ONLY source citation number 265. But I can't seem to figure out how this might be accomplished. Would anyone be able to assist in this regard?

Then I was planning on exporting the tagged individuals into a new database, but haven't got that figured out yet.

The only way I can think of to do this is tedious...

Unmark everyone in the family file first.

    Using the Source Tools:

1 - Mark Everyone linked to Source 265

2 - Show usage of Source 1 and then Unmark everyone found (click the green tick mark at the top of the right column beside "Name")

3 - Show usage of Source 2 and then Unmark everyone found

4 - show usage of Source 3 and then Unmark everyone found

    etc

    etc

5 Show usage of Source 264 and then Unmark everyone found

6 - show usage of Source 266 and then unmark everyone found

    etc

    etc

    to the end.

The remaining marked people will be those only linked to Source 265.

The Reunion "Find" setting for "# of Citations" counts multiple uses of the same source, so if you linked several facts/events/notes to the same source 265, this will show more than 1 citation - that's the reason this can't be used.
