Counting Places and Surnames

The file I keep for the Clan Moffat Society has 77,194 people in it.

The File Info reports:

Places: 12178
Surnames: 10000

With all of the data exported and then imported in to TNG I get

Places: 12,130 (close to 12,178 - at least on some of the discrepancies it's to do with people in Reunion marked Private so their places aren't exported to the GEDCOM file so TNG never sees those places - but I haven't checked all of them) - http://genealogy.clanmoffat.org/plac...ree=ClanMoffat

From the Manual on Limits

number of entries in Autocomplete: 10,000

So it seems like the Surname count might be being limited by the limit on Autocomplete, even while the Places Count isn't being limited?

So:

1 - can the reported count be made accurate

2 - can the limits be raised above 10,000 for autocomplete since I've reached that for both Surnames and Places.

My result is the same as yours for Surnames (Info reports 10000 in a file with many more surnames than that). On Places, Info reports 45831 places and 45830 unique places (not sure why there should be a difference of 1 there...), so I don't think that's being limited.
