    Mutimedia usage report

I have created a multimedia usage report for a set of marked people and would like to print out a list of only the file names, not the file location, etc.
Is there a way to print just one column of the report or is there a way to extract the report to Excel where I could prune it to suit? Or is there another way to get my list?

Not sure this will work, but how about printing to PDF, then open in Preview, then copy and paste to Excel or Numbers?

I don't see any way to get a list limited to the file names.

No direct way, but if you're willing to use ancillary programs, you can export the list to Word, copy & paste to TextWrangler, then:

        [1] remove non-file-name lines:
        ........search for ^Used.*
        ........replace with nothing

        [2] remove blank lines:
        ........search ^\r
        ........replace with nothing

[3] strip lines down to the filenames:
        ........search for ^.*[/](.*)( - .*)
        ........replace with \1

Note that this requires you to check the box for "Grep" in the Find and Replace dialogue box.

            Re: Mutimedia usage report

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up extracting the usage listing to the old version of Pages that I kept. It has a more powerful find/replace. And with relatively few steps I got a list that should work well for me.

            Thanks again.
