    Web Trees

I have another web project question and it is about the 'trees' feature. I love including the trees to help find exactly how a person fits into the family, however, I'm wondering if there is a way to select which trees are included.

For example, even though my aunt is listed as private, when I click her tree, her entire branch shows. This doesn't seem to really be private with all that shared and linked to her. I can go in and edit the HTML code to remove the tree link and parents names on the relevant cards (I think there are three), and it seems to work, but that could get tedious if there were very many of these, or if I have to do it each time a share a branch of my family tree.

Am I missing an easier way to select which tree branches to share?

    Re: Web Trees

Privacy works perfectly in web trees for me. There are two areas where things could be going amiss:

    1) When you make your Web Project make sure that "Use privacy filtering" is checked.
    2) Check your Privacy & Sensitivity Preferences are set appropriately. The Privacy tab allows you to set who is private (I have a flag for living people and use both the flag and people with no death date who are born after 1910). It also has options for what to do with these people. I have chosen to use "Last Name Only" with "(Living)" as additional text and nothing else. You can choose to Omit the name but add with "(Living)" if you desire--this just has a place holder for living people that indicates that they are living but no other information.
