Adding a Contact to sidebar

I may be a dozo but I cannot work out how to add a contact to the sidebar so that all my family history contact emails show up in a list

Hi Peter,

Navigate in the family view to the person you want to add contact information for, then select:

Edit -> Contact Info...

From the main menu-bar at the very top of the computer screen. Once you've entered details into the Contact Info for a person/family, they will appear in the Contact sidebar.
