I have a system that has worked wonderfully for a long time. That is: my family file is in Dropbox and I have the Reunion icon in my Dock. When I want to work on my family file I simple click on the icon in the Dock and this opens the file in Dropbox.
Now, for some unknown reason, and although I haven't changed anything, when I click on the icon what I get is the picture of Reunion (a family group) which includes the version 11.07 and that it is licensed to myself. This soon flashes off and a file opens which contains numerous documents about family members that I have saved over time; some of which have been placed in a persons's multi-media. To close this file I simply click done. Although the family file that is housed in Dropbox doesn't appear, the menu bar does say Reunion. In order to access my family file, I now have to open the DropBox folder, click on the Reunion family file, and it opens.
I have the same system set up in my MacBook Pro which works exactly as it should.I should add that I recently upgraded to El Capitan!
I would appreciate it if anyone can throw some light on this issue.
Thank you.
Patricia
