Find Events without Sources

Is there a way I can create a list of all people in my database who, for example, have a death event with no source?

I don't think you can do that - you can find People who have no Citations, but not specific events in a person's record that don't have a citation.

I have never found a convenient way to do that sort of thing - if it is even possible.

I have had some success with constructing complex searches using SQL through The Next Generation, but I am not as good at it as I'd like to be.

See if this will help you. I clicked on Find on the nav Bar

For the first condition:
First field: I clicked on attributes > # number of Citations
Second field: Equal
Third field: 0

Click on the And condition
For the second condition:
First Field: Click on Events > Any Date
Second field: Click on After
Third Field: Enter a date

I entered a date of 1800. This produced a list of missing source citations I've in my Family Tree.

It seems like I could use Any Place or Any Memo instead of Any Date.

gcase, that was a brilliant solution. I just tried it and it worked. I have 5000+ people in my database and 3000+ without citations. Looks like I've got something to do now if I ever get bored....
