When a jpg file is put into family multimedia, is there a way to make it appear in the book? Thank you.

It's not possible to include family multimedia in the Book Report. However, I will add this to our internal wish list for consideration.

Since multimedia can not be included in the Book report except in the Media section but not in the Register Report section, I am curious how others use that Media which I would assume in large part are copies of Source documents. Are they just to avoid paper copies?

Just hoping that this wish is still on your "to do" list. I have a number of pictures attached to the family rather than to individuals.
