adjusting notes in the family view

Maybe I am misusing Notes, but I am finding that they are taking up too much space on the Family View. Is there any way I can hide them? I could not see anything in Preferences.

Yes, Family View in Reunion Preferences is where to go to customize what you see in the Family View window.
    Among other things, you can:
    — Define which fields to show (or not show) in a View.
    — Change the vertical size for several of the fields shown, including Notes.
    — Define different specialized Views, each to show different fields.
For details and instructions click the “?” icon in the lower left corner of the family view window, and then choose “Customizing the Family View” from the pop-down list. Then click on “Resizing Fields Under the Main Couple” and "Adding & Removing Fields in the Family View". Also, I recommend you read through the other subsections of the Family View help pages for more Family View tips.

      Hi Byron,
Thanks for your speedy and helpful reply. I will need to study Preferences in more detail.
