    Web Report Index.htm file

Running OS X El Capitan and Reunion 11.
The web report that I create does not generate an index.htm (or index.html) file. I don't know of any website that does not have an index.htm file. What am I doing wrong? Never had this problem in all previous versions.

Are you looking for the file that has an index of all the surnames? Mine is labeled "idx001.html"
If instead, you are looking for the file that acts as a table of contents with links to various parts of your site, look for "wc_toc.html". You can change that to "index.html' in the preferences.

When you are creating your "Web Project" click on "Web Preferences" and then click the "Reports" tab. Click on "Files" in the left hand column, and on the right hand side you will see options for naming your "Cover page".

Hope that helps you find what you need!

      Re: Web Report Index.htm file

Lets be a bit more specific here.

It generates one for me. Altho on my Mac, its index.htm
I set the preference to "htm" rather than html because some old package used the shorter name (windows 3.x restriction no doubt) and Google has indexed the file for years.

The one index.htm file is in the generated directory that the Reports -> Web Project creates new for each run. But it only makes one. It does not make the file in the various subdirectories that it makes.

      ls
      css pc02 pc06 ps02 ps06 wc04 wp01
      img pc03 pi01 ps03 wc01 wc_idx wp02
      index.htm pc04 pi02 ps04 wc02 wc_src.htm
      pc01 pc05 ps01 ps05 wc03 wf01
Since all the files in all the subdirectories are linked to person and family cards, it all works and more importantly for me, Google indexes them all.

I find lots of cousins when they google for names of kin
