Loading a Reunion file to Ancestry

I am using Reunion 9 and would like to upload my Reunion family tree file to Ancestry. I understand there is a way but have not been able to find the process. Any help would be very welcome. Dick

Dick,

You export your Reunion database as a GEDCOM file. It's under FILE -> Export -> GEDCOM... Once you have the GEDCOM file (which is just a text file, by the way) you can go into Ancestry and under TREES -> Create and Manage Trees and click on Upload a GEDCOM file.

You may find that some things will not get loaded (like NOTES fields) and sources may be reduced to just the Titles. Free Form sources don't get across either I think. And none of your photos.

It's under FILE -> Export -> GEDCOM...

Just a minor correction -- in Reunion 9, it's:

File -> Import/Export -> Export GEDCOM...
