Symbol after place names

My Reunion 11 program has started inserting a symbol after some place names. I have tried to copy it in the attached file. It is so small that I cannot read it, but I do not require it and would like to be able to remove it. Does anyone have any ideas?

If you open one of these entries for editing, do you see the same symbol in the Place field? Or does it only appear in the Family View?

I don't have the Residence field in my Family View. I've just altered my Preferences to include it there and, yes, it does show - see attached screen shot.

My apologies, I thought the screenshot in your original post was from your Family View - not from the Edit Person screen.

If you try to edit the place (in the Edit Person screen), are you able to delete the odd symbol? Or does it disappear when you click to edit the place?

That's the odd thing. If I try to edit the place, the symbol isn't there, but when I cancel or complete the edit it reappears. I've actually sorted the problem now by deleting the name of the place wherever it appeared and replacing it.
