    Age of dead person

Can anyone point me to how to stop the age of someone who is known to be dead increasing year by year simply because I don't know, and cannot therefore record, the date of death?

Put a ? into the Death field - that tells Reunion the person is Deceased, but you don't know when.

Or if you have any kind of clue.... Reunion understands abt, bef and aft. e.g. "abt 1900" if you think death was about then. Or sometimes, by deduction, you know it has to be before or after, thus "bef 1900" or..... I also do the ? trick.

Does not Reunion also understand "ca" for circa?

I have been using that (instead of "abt") and think it works although perhaps I am mistaken.

Reunion uses Abt, Ca and App(roximately) interchangably.
