Names not in index / reindexing names

I've just had a first time problem of a Volney Earle McCutchan born 1892 in CA located in my family file I can see his family card, but he is not found in the People list, or in the List - People window.

I thought I should re-index the people list, but cannot remember how and am unable to locate how it is done.

Any help is appreciated,

Hi Gerry,

It sounds like you are wanting to "rebuild cache files." To do so, choose File -> Rebuild Cache Files and click Rebuild.

Note: This option replaced the option to "rebuild the Index."
