Reunion uses UTF-8 throughout (see Help and look for Unicode). The produced GEDCOM files faithfully transcribe all diacritical characters, including Turkish or Polish characters. Müller and Muller are different names, so are Åhman and Ahman. My first name is François, not Francois, and my Collins English dictionary has an entry for café but not for cafe… My advice is to keep all diacritical characters.
