i'd like to indicate a person's dead even if I don't have details. In GEDCOM, that can be done 1 DEAT Y, what is the equivalent in Reunion?

Enter a question mark into the date field of the death event. This tells Reunion that you know the person has passed away, but that you do not have details (when/where/etc.).
