How do others enter a marriage/divorce/remarriage of the same couple? I've been entering the wife's name twice, once for each of their marriages, is there another way to handle this situation?

As long as there were no other marriages in between their two marriages, follow the process mentioned here...
However, if there were other marriages in between their two marriages, there is no need to add a fake spouse, as mentioned in the above post. (I.e., you would skip steps 2 and 3, and stop at step 6.)
As a side note, you may want to merge the duplicated entries caused by entering the wife's name twice. One way to do so would be to do a match and merge for her. Information on how to do a match and merge the easy way can be found by searching for "easy merge" in your manual. To access your manual, click on the "?" in the lower-left corner of any Reunion window or choose Help -> Contents.

Re: Marriage, Divorce & Remarriage same couple
Hi Deb,
Will this procedure work with Reunion 10? I attempted to add a remarriage for a divorced couple who both had other marriages in the interim and I was unable to drag the wife from the sidebar (Step 5 under the procedure).
Thanks,
William

If problems continue, it may be best to send your family file to us. Perhaps there is some corruption (or a linking problem) in the file causing the problem you are seeing. Information on how to send a family file to us can be found here...
Be sure to include a note as to who you are attempting to link to whom.
