"file in use" when downloading an update

I just downloaded and installed the update to Reunion 11.0.9. My Reunion file was closed. I received a message that the install could not be completed because "...the file gedcomicon._?_ was in use ..."

My applications folder shows one file for Reunion 11 but it has a 'blank' icon.

When clicking on my .familyfile it will not open.

Help?

Please drag the Reunion 11 application from your Applications folder to the Trash, then try reinstalling the update from a new download:

Whew! That worked! All is fine again and I have Reunion 11.0.9 installed and working.
