Hi, is there a way to search by first name versus last name? Sometimes in my family the first names are the unique characteristic and I have tons of people with the same last name. In other words, can I search for "Jackson" versus having to search for "Smith, Jackson"? I see the last name, first name convention grayed out in the search box. Can I change that?

Re: Searching in People Sidebar
The easy way to search by first name using the search box in the People sidebar is simply to put a comma in front of a first name. e.g. ",Thomas".
Of course, this will give you all the guys with the first name of Thomas in your file. That is the bad news. The good news is that the results are sorted by last name. Thus, if you have 5 Robert Cooks, they will group together.
Hope this helps.Bob White, Mac Nut Since 1985, Reunion Nut Since 1991
