Alternative pedigrees - how to in Reunion?

I have an ancestor who is well documented. However, for him there are two very good alternatives sets of parents (each very well sourced), and then of course the earlier generations are different. After much work, I cannot determine which sets of parents are correct - the arguments for both possibilities are compelling.

Any suggestions about how in Reunion to keep all the information about both parent line possibilities (and their pedigrees), but tied to the same child?

    Thanks!

You can create the two separate sets of parents, with their pedigrees, and then link the same child to each family.

First create the child with the family that you think is most likely, and then on the other parents' family card you can link a duplicate of the child to them.

Search the Manual for "duplicate child"

      Thanks Roger!

While further contemplating how to do this (i.e. alternative pedigree lines), I discovered that a child can have 'other parents' by using:
+ Add New Father (or Mother)
This would accomplish the same result as your suggestion, would it not?
