Recently, I encountered some "ghost" records in my family file (9000 records approx), which contained several hundred .jpg photos. I contacted Reunion and as usual was given excellent service. Reunion asked me to drop box the file to them, which I did and within days, the problem had been solved and the file returned to me.
Unfortunately when I began to use the file, I discovered that about 80% of the photos were missing but each record where a photo had been, there was a link to the photo which allowed me to re-link the photo and the record. It was not a hugh job but I don't know how or why this happened.
I keep the photos in folder on my hard disk, not in the designated Reunion Pictures folder. Could this be the reason that the links were broken but if that is so, I would have expected all of the links to have been broken.
Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing.
