Presence of asterisk next to name

I noticed the presence of an asterisk next to a person's name when I publish a descendant chart. What does it mean?
Can someone help?

That the person is in there more that once; likely with another spouse.

It means that the couple is related, and that they appear in two different lines of descent (Once in his; once in hers). If you have the "Prune: Remove duplicates" box checked in the Charts pane, this couple's descendants will be shown only in one place, not in both.
