I have an Ancestry.com account and maintain that database as my prime depository of information and for conducting research.
I like Reunion's tools for producing charts and books.
So, I periodically export the file in GEDCOM format and then import into Reunion. All goes very well and I am pleased with the results.
However, spouse order will sometimes get changed (dates and names are correct, etc. ) and I get a "first married" narrative for the wrong spouse. I can go into the Edit Suppose dialog and fix the order but that is tough/impossible to catch for 1000's of profiles.
However, birth order of children will get scrambled in charts and books. The dates are correct but what happens is that the names somehow get swapped in the Family File Page and that order will override the date order.
So, I try to find all of these (impossible) and fix them in Reunion before printing a chart or make in book or creating a Record.
All help and suggestions welcomed, please!
