Picture in media file has ? mark

I have a couple of pictures in my media file which have red question marks. They are two different pictures...What does this mean?

The red question marks mean Reunion cannot find the original media file on your computer. (I.e., perhaps the picture was linked from your desktop and then deleted. Or, maybe, you transferred files to a new Mac and those pictures ended up in a different location.)

My first suggestion would be to tell Reunion where your pictures are being stored on your computer and attempt to repair multimedia links.

Information about this process can be found in your manual by searching for "repair multimedia" without the quotes. To access the manual, choose Help > Contents or click on the "?" in the lower-left corner of just about any Reunion window.

If repairing links does not solve the problem, you may want to delete the two items with the red question marks from the Multimedia sidebar. Afterward, locate an appropriate media item on your computer and link it.

Information about removing multimedia items and linking multimedia items can be found in your manual by searching for "remove multimedia" and "add multimedia," respectively.

I hope you find this information helpful
