My wife is my 10th cousin

Hello,

My wife and I share a grandfather quite a few generations back so she shows as my 10th cousin in the relationship indicator. I'd rather have her listed as my spouse when I'm the source person. Is there a way to override's Reunion's relationship determination?

No - additionally, Reunion 9 does not have a "Spouse" label for relationships as this feature only does blood relationships in version 9.

It would be nice if when there were multiple relationships, you got little menu triangles similar to the way you do when there are multiple spouses or multiple parents, so that you could pick which one is given priority (for display and searches.)

Besides the choice between Spouse and blood relationship, people also vary on whether they consider, say, 2C4R to have higher or lower priority than 3C1R. Some people prefer the ordering by cousin level then removedness, while some prefer removedness then cousin level, while others prefer "sum of both" then cousin level.

(I'm actually unsure what priority Reunion uses by default.)

Reunion 10 will label your wife as your 10th cousin instead "Spouse" and there's no option to change this labeling.
