    Problem with User Manual

Reunion 10.0.1 - at home page - click on Help in Menu Bar.

    A pop down is created with Family View/Sidebar: People / --- / Contents / Tutorial / Shortcuts / Technical Support / Upgrading / New Features / --- / Check for Updates ... / Reunion 10 Web Page ... / Reunion 10 Registration Page ...

    Click on Contents.

A new menu item is created, "Manual", and the Help menu loses the Family View and Sidebar: People entries, but nothing else happens.

Click on Help / Contents again. A new page opens with search the manual entry at top left, left arrow, a contents icon, right arrow, and bookmark icon at top right. Nothing in the body of the page. Click on contents icon - nothing happens.

Obviously this is not what I expected. What am I doing wrong?

    Re: Problem with User Manual

Might be you have not defined a webbrowser when you Reunion 10 for the first time, or perhaps you defined a very 'special webbrowser'.
    I cite the manual:
Note: the web browser specified here is not the same as the "default web browser" for your Mac OS. The "default web browser" handles links in note fields, as explained here.

If so, give it a try and change the webbrowser: Reunion Preferences -> Web -> Browser and choose Safari (Opera, FireFox, Internet Explorer work properly)

Mark helped solve this problem. Turns out I was doing a number of things wrong - Reunion not stored in Applications Folder (I had it in a folder in Applications), Reunion not named Reunion 10.

Thanks, Mark. Now the question is, how long will I stay straightened out?

I had the same problem - turns out that the Reunion 10 application HAS TO BE in the Applications folder, not a sub folder.
