Merging trees

I have a Tribal Pages site, where I have allowed family members to add and alter information for their particular branches.

I would ideally now, like to download this tree, and merge it with my master - save re-imputing info that has already been added.

Is this easy to do, are there any tips I should be aware of before I start?
