    Case menu

Perhaps a bug in the Case menu (Navbar -> Change -> Case) or a (usefull ?) behaviour that I do not understand ?

A Belgian Reunion (mr. Duys) user asked my attention for the next situation.
When not sure about a specific name in the situation where the name can change, he added a ( ) between a part op the name. Exemple: Jan Verlo(e)keren
When change case: Last names and Mixed Case, you get: Jan Verlo(E)Keren
So the ( and ) within a name) is seen as space, so that the first character after the ( and ) is changed to a capital.
There is no difference with the settings of the prefix in General.
Also none of the checkmarks (Last name UPPERCASE or Initial Caps in Edit Person) is checked.

Is this intended somehow ? ?
BTW: this behaviour is also present in R 9.

This is intentional. The more common use of ( ) is to indicate an alternative or possible a married name. For example Smith (Jones)

        Re: Case menu

And you can use Option-Tab as you leave a field (if you remember) to reverse the setting that you've chosen for the setting.

          Re: Case menu

What I mean is the behaviour of the Change -> Case menu item.
Familyname -> Mixed case. Then you got the situation I described: Jan Verlo(E)Keren
Sometimes the name is Jan Vanlokeren and in other situation tee name is Jan Vanloekeren.
This has nothing to do with leaving a field with Option Tab in the panel 'Edit Person'
