    Place usage incorrect

I think I have noticed a bug in the usage of places.

I created a new 'residence' event for a head of household when recording a census entry. I entered a new place for the residence and checked that this "place" showed the person's residence event. So far so good.

I then copied the event by selecting it and using cmd-c. I then navigated to each of the other members of the household and pasted the event into each person using cmd-v.

When I check the place usage for the residence place it states that only 1 event has been found for this place, which is that of the first entry. Other entries where I pasted the event are not shown in the usage.

Yep I also noticed this. Being a newbie I just assumed I'd done something wrong

Happened to me too. I closed/ re-opened the familyfile and the two new Residence events, created with CMD C/V could be viewed in the family view, but didn't display in Place Usage. I created a new file, added myself and one male child, keyed in a residence entry for myself, then CMD C/V to my child and the event displayed in my child's famly view record. Place Usage did not pick up the new entry. Then I manually keyed a residence entry to my child and this was added to the place usage. Definitely seems like a problem. Same thing happened for a death event.

We were able to duplicate this and are looking into it.

For now, rebuilding caches should fix it. (In Reunion, choose File -> Rebuild Cache Files.)

Thanks Mark, rebuilding the caches worked for me.
