I am delighted with the Places function in Reunion 10 and the great flexibility that it has. It has long been one of my aims to have a map of the associated places of the people in my database and to make this a comprehensive record of the movements of individuals. Reunion 10 helps greatly in this but I have a couple of queries/suggestions:
1) The "Map all places for this person" facility is a great tool and it would be absolutely fantastic if these individual maps could be combined into family groups but I see from the the manual notes that currently, multiple places can't be mapped for multiple people. I would love to have this facility as I would dearly love to be able to track a family group's historical movements and I hope that this will become available in an update. In the meantime does anyone know of a way of exporting these individual maps to a master map and if such a master map is available for the Mac?
2) Again in the "Map all places for this person" facility is it possible to annotate the maps? What I am thinking is that although it is great that if you click on an individual place pin a note of what happened in that place pops up it would be even more useful if all these notes could be on permanent view so that you could track the movement of people over a period of time.
Finally thanks to the guys for this great facility in Reunion 10 I love it!
