Map all places for a person

I like seeing the map for all events in a person's life ...... but it doesn't really seem all that useful to me. Is it just me ...... or shouldn't there be an easy way to save the said map, with ALL the event labels visible? That way you could include the map in a report on the person or share it in some other meaningful way. In Safari, the only options seem to be saving as Source or Web Archive, which is not all that helpful, I don't think. I know I can take a screenshot of the map or email it, but you still only see the label for one event at a time.....unless you have the time and patience to do a lot of tweaking but that seems counterproductive to me.

Am I missing something really easy and cool here? It's always a possibility.

Hmmmm. Isn't there anyone else who has an opinion or thought on this? I would be very interested in learning how others use this function in Reunion.

      Kathy,

Unless I'm missing something this doesn't do me any good either. I started a thread on geo coding and had several comments that you might like to read. For me, if I can't enter an EXACT geocode for EACH event and/or fact it doesn't do me any good. The way the mapping is done at the present time is that it is tied to a place, i.e. town or the closest place it can find. The way I would like it to work is that I can add codes myself to each event/fact. Example. Grandfather died at his farm (enter MY geocode for that event); he was buried 30 miles away in a country cemetery (enter MY geocode) for that event and so forth. Unfortunately Reunion doesn't work that way.

It can work that way if you enter unique place names for each location you want to give a unique geocode. For example, in the absence of better names, grandfather died "at his farm near Schenectady, New York" and was buried "in the country cemetery near the Joslin homestead 30 miles from Albany, New York"

If two people are buried in the same graveyard, one might be at "tier 30, grave 7B, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester Co., New York", and the other at "tier 67, grave 117F, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester Co., New York". And each could have his or her own geocode.
