Has anyone set up a family web site using Reunion 10? I would love to be able to do this for all our family members to have access to the history and photos of our ancestors. Is it a hard thing to do? I would get a domain name and use WordPress to set up site. Would like to have a home page, add posts and pages along with a Reunion 10 tree or chart. How would that work? Would anyone who has done this allow me to view your family site?

Re: Setting Up a Family Web Site
I have a Reunion 9 web site too, that's a little different than the others because it's based on generating Family Group Sheet reports instead of web Family Cards.
You can generate web sites using any of the kinds of reports (just pick "Web Folder" as the output destination), and I find the Family Group Sheets put the most information on each page. I'm somewhat surprised more people don't base their sites on that report.
I haven't updated it to Reunion 10 yet, but I plan to soon.My Home Page: http://tpettit.best.vwh.net/

Click on the question mark in the lower left to bring up the manual, then, making sure you are on the main index page, click on Web Publishing (about 2/3 down in the second column). Leister has provided an excellent basic explanation that should answer your questions. Should it generate more questions, ask them because there are many of us that would be happy to help out.Bob White, Mac Nut Since 1985, Reunion Nut Since 1991
