Lost files

Some how my file has disappeared and I am using Max OS X - there are some files in my trash bin but where do I put them back into. Someone please help.

It would help to know what file was lost AND what files are in your trash.

one of the files I pulled out of the trash says report 002, rwm family history. this is my father and it has all his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren all of rudolph mitchell family. now can we restore it and put it back into joeann horton family history where it belongs.

Glad you're straightened out.

You really would not have lost anything, as any & all reports can be recreated quite easily; they are all generated from your family file--nothing newer or different in them.
