I have printed a descendant chart and it has come out "faded" or lighter than colors shown. Is this because of some formatting issue such as align to front, align to back, etc.? I can't figure it out and use up my printer's color cartridge very quickly. Help.

Re: Printing descendant chart
I would second Lily's suggestion that something about your printer settings or printer itself is where you should look. I can't think of anything about Reunion that would result in a print that looks significantly different than the on-screen appearance as you've described.
Can you print an image from another application such as Preview and get the results you expect? Or does that come out light too?

On the descendant chart in question, I had multiple spouses and got a little creative to get the result I wanted. I tried it several different ways: 1) create source person with first spouse + children, create source person with second spouse + children and "merged" the two, or copied the second chart and pasted into the first. (2) I created a chart using the father and mother, deleting the other siblings, but then still had the source couple. I moved the source couple to another page and basically making the sibling with multiple spouses the source couple, changing the generation number and color of the box according.
I don't know, I have tried so many things. I think my chart is faded because there is something "hiding" behind it. Frustrating - don't know what to do from here. I have checked other posts relating to multiple spouses in Reunion Talk and tried to start over and create a new descendant chart. Don't know what to do with that "new source" box. Loretta
