    Re: Reunion Special Interest Groups

I would love to know of a group in SoCal. I'm in LA County, but just barely. We are on the Ventura County line. I would travel to attend a SIG!
Maybe if we find some more people we can meet up in a central place. I'm only one month into genealogy and Reunion and am a "learn by doing" person.

I don't think I'll be driving to Victoria for a meeting, being in Queensland, (only a couple of days drive) but the Facebook page I can do. Thanks

There is a huge Mac group in Melbourne: http://www.ausom.net.au
They have a Genealogy SIG but not a Reunion SIG any more, I don't think. I've never been there as I live in Northern California but I get their very nice newsletter.

I don't think the Southern California Genealogical Society (SCGS) in Burbank currently has one, but they do host meetings for several other genealogical software, so if enough SCGS members are interested, I think they would consider it. I'd be interested in attending this or any other SoCal meeting.

            Re: Reunion Special Interest Groups

I am the facilitator of the Reunion Users Group for the San Diego Genealogical Society (SoCA). We meet the first Tuesday of the month from noon until 2PM at the SDGS Library. We have a general topic discussion using a projector and handouts (this month: customizing preferences), there is usually time for an open forum and questions. I send out a reminder e-mail one week in advance. If you'd like to join us, drop me an e-mail - fansv@cox.net.
            Regards, Anne

I can vouch for Janet's comments. I belong to the Apple Users Society of Melbourne (AUSOM) and attend their very popular Genealogy Special Interest Group. Most of the attendees use Reunion and discuss it's use regularly. Granted it is rather far from Queensland, but have a look at their website. You may like to consider joining and using their bulletin board service.

                Re: Reunion Special Interest Groups

Seattle has a Mac Interest Group that meets monthly from October through June. Software-wise, we decided a long time ago to focus on Reunion.
See the Seattle Genealogical Society website for updates on meeting dates, times, locations.
