    Source Person

For as long as I've been using Reunion, I have always been the source person. Recently, and I don't know exactly when, I discovered that my son has become the source person. I realized it when I noticed that while looking at my name, it said I was my own mother! I've looked in vain, and cannot find out how to change the source person back to me. I don't know how it happened.

Just navigate to your family card, select from the menu Find->Relatives, make sure you're chosen, and click the Identify button.

Thank you very much! It was so simple, but I couldn't find it. I will be back here again, I'm sure.

Thanks! I did it again and couldn't find me! I'm not getting better, I'm getting older.

          Judy,
I think that is better than the options!

This has happened to me also....my Gt.Grandmother is showing as "Source" and I am her Gt.Grandson....why is this...???

I mean, I know I'm her Gt.Grandson, but shouldn't I be the source of the tree...?

The source person can be anyone in your family file that you designate as the root person when implementing the Find Relatives command.

Prior to the Find feature having the option to drag two people to the two boxes and click Find Relationship, I used to change the source person frequently in order to find the relationship between two people in my file.
