    What are *New [code]

    Why do I have small handfuls of these at the top of my lists of information fields. They bug me lol! I want them to look like all the others, and in some cases they appear to duplicate other fields. Is this a result of importing gedcoms from other programs? Can I get rid of them without losing data?

    Yes, they likely came in with your import. You can remove them but you should check where they are used first. Luckily there is some great functionality in Reunion to help you do this. Look up "Deleting Fields" in the help and that will explain how to check the fields usage before deleting them.

      Sweet! A pain to do, but sweet :-) I think I skimmed over an import option to change the field names of the source file before importing. Will look more closely next time!

        I've had a problem emerge, where the Find report will say there are x number of people using a field, but when I click to Find them, either one more or one less than the original number indicated actually show. It happened once each way. Not sure if the programming team will read this and I don't see a report a problem board.

          The Reunion Guru's constantly monitor the board and may step in at any time, however when you have a real "problem" you can send an e-mail to help@leisterpro.com.

          That said you may find that rebuilding your caches does the trick. You can do that by following the path
          FILE > REBUILD CACHE FILES...
