Family View card

I want to see birth and death dates of the mother and father on each family view. I see those dates for the father's parents and the mother's parents, and I see those dates for their children. All I see for the mother and father is each one's name, age, and relationship to me. How can I add their birth and death dates to the family view? Thanks.

Hi Fran,

Go to:

Reunion -> Preferences > Family View

Click on Couple. Then use the "Add Field" button at the bottom to add either the "Birth - Death" option (under Events), or add the Birth and Death events separately, if you'd prefer.

As you'll notice, you can add these fields inside the buttons or under the buttons.

Thanks, Mark. Worked like a charm. I had gone to preferences but didn't recognize the pair of eyeglasses as a symbol for "Family View." I'll look more thoroughly next time!
