Show only marked people in People Sidebar List

I see that I can choose "Show Marked People" after clicking the green check mark below the People sidebar, to show just marked people.
    This is helpful.

The problem with this is that it does not stick.

if you go to the Multimedia sidebar, and then come back to the People sidebar, your "Show Marked People" setting is gone, and you have to do it all over again.

Is there a way to make this choice stick?

    Thanks.

When you choose to show marked people in the sidebar, you'll notice that the sidebar changes to the Results (i.e., it's no longer the People sidebar; it's the Results sidebar). And, yes, the Results sidebar will remember your selection (to see marked folks only).

      Yes, I see this now.

The problem is that this does not stick after you get another set of results.

I want to be able to set the People sidebar (as needed), so that only marked people show, always. Without having to constantly go to the green check mark and choose "Show Marked People".

I guess this is not possible?

      Thanks.

        Hi Paul,

Instead of going from Multimedia sidebar back to the People sidebar, go from the Multimedia sidebar to the Results sidebar. The Results sidebar should still display just the marked people.

Yes, that is true, but after I have to do other searches or the like (and lose my Results), when I click People I want to be able to just see marked people, as a default.

          Thanks.

Sorry, I misunderstood your previous post.

You are correct, there is no way to show just marked people in the People sidebar.

Going back to Frank's reply - maybe not exactly what you require, but a possible work around is to use the 'Save' option in the Results list when you initially create a particular group of marked people. Click on the blue triangle at the top, and use the first option. Once saved, that list appears in a separate section of the drop-down. It will remain available, no matter how many further 'Find' and Mark searches you do. Further, if you unmark people, these changes will be reflected in the saved list. To remove it once it is no longer relevant use the edit option. For more information see "Results List: Special Features" in the manual.

Thanks, but this leaves the same issue - once the results are lost, one has to go back and "choose" this saved set. One should be able to click "People" and have the People sidebar come up the way one wants it, without extra steps.
