How to find all people born on a specific date

I seem to remember being able to find all people born on a specific date, but in 10, I can't seem to be able to do it. If I search "birth date" "is" "Dec. 2" I get no matches even though I should. I've tried "birth date" "contains" "Dec. 2" and get the same thing. Also tried typing ou the full word "December" still no dice. Anyone know how to do this?

This may depend on how you have dates displaying, but I tried birth date contains "9 dec"
(no period after dec) and it gave all the 9 Dec, 19 Dec, and 29 Dec births. My dates display as, e.g., 9 Dec 1939.

It's the period that prevented you from getting a hit. You told R10 to look for "Dec. 2" but there are no periods stored, therefore no matches.

Yes, I checked on "starts with" 9 dec and dec 9 and all the correct results were returned for both. Sometimes v10 is so smart, it's scary. :-)
