I've just exported my family history from Legacy 7.5 to Reunion 10, because my new MacBook hasn't room for a Windows 7 desktop. I used Reunion back when it had a Windows version. In Legacy I kept my general research in one set of notes and census information on each family or individual in another. As a result I now have two sets of Misc. Notes in some cases. I would like them to be separately displayed as Misc. Notes and Census in Family View but can't figure out how to get Reunion to cooperate. What if I want to add a third type of notes and get that displayed separately again? Surely I can't be limited to all notes displayed having to be called 'Misc. Notes'. Thanks, Tanya

Then, where appropriate, add that field in the Edit Person/Notes panel. Information on doing so can be found in your manual by searching for "add note edit person."
Next, you will need to copy/paste the census information from your one Misc. Notes field into the Census notes field. Then, delete the empty Misc. Notes field
Finally, add the Census note field to the Family View by following the steps as outlined in "The Family View: Customizing" section of the manual. To access it, search for "add field to view."
I hope you find this information helpful in customizing your family view:-)Deb Stuller
