After Crash, Clipboard has 'new' entries

After a power hit, the contents of the clipboard get items that were not there earlier.

Clicking on these 'new' entries does nothing and 'delete' does nothing.

I have stumbled upon a 'solution'. I move the 'new' entry to any random family's group of children and then move it to the clipboard where I can then get it properly deleted.

What the heck??
