Generating reports with paragraph styles

I want to generate a register report with each type of information (generation heading, person, info, child, etc) as a separate paragraph or character style in the word processor (I use Pages).

Is there a way to do this?

If not, consider this a feature request. It would be even better to be able to define your own template that data is flowed into...
